Information (practical, functional, tactical), in the form of text, image, video, audio or live events – produced in such a way that it’s engaging, relevant, reliable, interesting, entertaining or enlightening (educational).

Main purposes of content are: 

  • to entertain
  • to inspire
  • to educate 
  • to convince

Magazine Types:

Shorts (flash or snack articles) – addressing or highlighting a quick concept, idea, thought, happening, humour, quick insight, brighteners

Feature Articles – An article that involves local people and events – good stories are made of; triumph, passion, heartbreak, courage, conflict, comedy, pathos, artistry, love and hate.

Thought Leadership – Thought leadership articles highlight information on advances or breakthroughs of a person, company, community, concept…

Opinion (Op-Ed). Articles that is of a high opinion and sometimes a response to current and topical subjects written by experts in the area.

Personal experience – An article in which the writer recounts an ordeal, process or event he has undergone, significant to theme, but not related to a brand.

Reviews – The biggest success behind reviews is satisfying a consumer’s concern about a product/service, which he is doing research on before buying. Almost 10 out of 15 people read reviews before deciding on where to go.

Advertorial – Content which is designed to sell a product or service. It could be a company profile, highlighting the people and its services, or a specific product. Advertorials provide the opportunity to include significantly more information about a product or service’s benefits than an a display advert, which is usually heavy on images and light on text

Display Adverts – Display advertising conveys a commercial message visually – using text (copywriting), logos (brand identity), artwork (photographs, or other graphics and imagery such as illustrations).

Videos are incredibly engaging and offer a well rounded sensory experience that includes visuals, motion, sound, story, and personality.

It can encapsulates a concept in a myriad of magical ways which no other medium can. It draws the audience into another world where the actors on stage entertain, educate, enthrall and enlighten.
